Description
Designed for parents who would like to learn the basics of baby Infant massage and have the knowledge to continue at home – perfect for parents short on time!
An introductory session will teach you how to recognise your baby’s signals, recommended creams and oils for infant massage and a basic stroke routine.
This a live Zoom class which runs for 1 hour with Q&A’s at the end on Zoom in person or via the Online ‘Chat’ typing in your question option.
*It is expected that all participants who join this class have their cameras on for the class so your instructor can observe and provide feedback for your child’s safety and make suggestions accordingly.
This class is suitable for newborns to 12 months old. Pregnant Ladies are welcome, you can practice on a Doll or Teddy Bear at home or even just take notes. We encourage you to attend this class with your partner and baby. One ‘ticket’ allows for the two of you plus your baby to attend together.
All instructions are provided on how to access the class via ‘Zoom’.
Date: 13 September 11:30 am – 12:30 pm
Materials Needed: a blanket or change mat for baby’s comfort with a separate muslin / blanket to cover so she / he does not get cold. The room should be a comfortable temperature. A tube of Redwin sorbolene cream ($4) – we will discuss the pro’s / con’s of baby massage oils in class and recommended options. Please do not use kitchen food-based oils.
